I specialize in freelance writing services for higher education, cultural institutions, and non-profit organizations.

Writing Services

Rates include initial research, one primary stakeholder interview, and two rounds of revisions.

  • Alumni Profiles: 500–800 words capturing a graduate’s journey and impact. $500 – $800

    Donor/Major Gift Impact Stories: 500-1000 words capturing the impact of a donor(s) generosity on student success, program, faculty excellence, or facility improvement. $500 – $1000    

    Case Studies: 1,200 words highlighting a specific program’s success. $800 – $1,200

    Website Copy: Rewriting or creating new landing pages (per page). $400 – $600

  • Deposit: A 50% up-front deposit is required for all new clients or for any project totaling over $2,000.

    Draft & Revision Process: Rates include two rounds of revisions. Additional revisions or major shifts in project scope are billed at an hourly rate of $100/hr.

    Rush Requests: Any project requiring a turnaround of three working days or less will incur a rush fee (typically 25% of the total).

    Cancellation: If a project is cancelled after the first draft is submitted, full payment is due. If cancelled during the drafting phase, payment is due for all work completed to date.

    Payment Terms: Standard billing is net 30 from the date of the final invoice.

  • Additional interviews: $100 per 30-minute interview (beyond the one included). SEO optimization: $150 per article for keyword research and metadata. Social media kit: $200 (includes 3–5 promotional posts for the written piece).
